In this example, Sabo Industrial Corp has provided a custom solution that allows our client to clean a subway car air conditioning system. Cleaning these systems is essential to improving air quality for passengers by reducing pollutants, allergens, and the risk of airborne illnesses and disease. Using Sabo’s ClearTreat ® solution, the cleaning process is efficient and can keep up with the demands of a large transit system:
- The air conditioning system is removed from the subway car to be thoroughly washed, removing gross solids and heavy metals.
- Wastewater moves through Sabo Industrial Corp’s system and is treated with ClearTreat® separating agents that quickly separate suspended solids, emulsified oil and heavy metals.
- The contaminants are encapsulated by the separating agent and form a large, sturdy floc.
- The contents of the mix tank is pumped to the bag filter tank where the floc is captured in the bag filters and the treated effluent is collected in the tank.
- The treated water is pumped through a carbon vessel for final polishing before being legally discharged.
