2. Filtration and Discharge: Cleartreat® chemically treats the wastewater. The resulting sludge, which contains all the harmful pollutants, is separated from the clean water in a filter tank (like the BFT16) and captured in filter bags. The bag filters can be disposed of in the local landfill. The clean water (treated effluent) can then be legally discharged into the sewer or reused.
